Text: 1 Peter 1:22-2:3

 

 

Because of the presence of sin in our lives and in our world, everything is subject to decay and disharmony.  Just like the grass and flowers bloom for a season so our lives fade briefly.  But beyond just our physical health and lives our relationships tend to degrade into disharmony as well.  We have been saved out of our sinful isolation and been adopted into an eternal family.  Who we are determines what we do, and since we have been loved by God we are commanded to love one another.  We love one another by forsaking harmful practices and by growing in grace.  Loved people love people.
